Frequently Asked Questions about Cityhotel Amadeus Münster

How late can I check in?

Check-in is possible until 10:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and around the clock on Fridays and Saturdays, as our reception is staffed continuously on those days. If you are arriving later on a weekday, please arrange a self-check-in with us in advance – this requires full prepayment. Check-out is until 11:00 am; a later late check-out is available on request.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Yes, Cityhotel Amadeus has its own, partly covered car park for 18 € per day. No reservation is needed – a space is usually available.

How do I get from the main train station to the hotel?

Münster (Westf) main station is only a 12-minute walk (approx. 850 m) away. Alternatively, bus line 5 towards Hiltrup Bahnhof departs from platform D2 to the Friedrich-Ebert-Platz stop (approx. 4 minutes).

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Our breakfast buffet can be booked from 14.90 € per person per day and is served Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 10:00 am, Saturdays from 7:00 to 10:00 am, and Sundays and public holidays from 7:30 to 10:00 am. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available on request.

Are pets allowed at Cityhotel Amadeus?

Dogs and cats up to knee height are welcome for a fee of 18 € per day.

Can I store my bicycle securely?

Yes, we offer a lockable bicycle garage as well as a charging point for e-bikes. A public bike rental station is located around 700 m from the hotel.

Is there free WiFi?

Yes, free WiFi with speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s is available in all rooms and public areas – ample for video calls and streaming.

How far is it to the city centre and the cathedral?

Prinzipalmarkt in the old town is about a 15-minute walk (1.5 km) away, and St Paulus Cathedral about 17 minutes (1.7 km). Both are reachable by bike in 5–6 minutes.

How far is it to Halle Münsterland / the Congress Centre?

The Halle Münsterland exhibition and congress centre is about a 12-minute walk (1.2 km) away, or 4 minutes by car – ideal for trade fair and conference guests.

Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Of course. We offer luggage storage as well as a central safe at reception.

Does the hotel offer a laundry or ironing service?

Yes: laundry service (7:00 am–2:00 pm, 25 € per load) and ironing service (8:00 am–3:00 pm, 20 € per outfit) can be booked at reception.

Are there family rooms for more than two people?

Our family/quadruple room offers 26 m² of space for up to four people, with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) and one double bed (160 × 200 cm). A cot can be booked for 16 € per night.

Is the room cleaned daily?

Yes – for sustainability reasons, we clean your room daily only upon request.
